$1,000 Reward for BB Gun Vandal
September 11th, 2007 Posted in NewsThere is a BB gun sniper among us that has damaged cars & windows of homes & businesses in the Newark, Ohio area. Since January 1, over 150 incidences have been reported. Now there is a reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) involved.
Anyone who has information about these crimes or any other serious crimes may call Licking County Crime Stoppers at (740) 349-6888 or (888) 488-9058.

Here is a note that was posted on the Newark Advocate site user forum:
Well just so everyone knows, I know who these young men are, and i cacn tell ya about what time to be looking out for you cars. They are no young kids. They are grown men. Probally about the age of 23-25. They get off work at 4am and then they go out in usually a grey lumina 4 door. I know this because i watched them do it to my car. I just urge everyone to review their camera’s around their houses and stay in contact with neighbors. If you see anything…call the police. These guys should not be approached because they have no sence and it’s hard telling what they would do. I know this for a fact because they used to be an associate of mine and now we are no longer friends. They do this because they have nothing better to do. And your right… they have no respect for our community.
